Every county carries one rating on the same 0 to 100 scale the ratings page publishes. Move it and we re-run the whole season, or the whole summer, two thousand times over.
A rating set here is the same county in the championship. It can also be set for a single round, for a county missing players or peaking late.
In the league you can type over a scoreline or hand a county the win. A forecast shades the model and the simulations still vary around it. A result is played exactly that way in every single simulation.
The league forecast and the championship pages, with your numbers in them: where each county finishes, what each points total is worth, which fixtures decide it, how far each county goes in the summer and who is most likely to end it.
The simulator runs the same model the published forecasts run, with your ratings in place of the model’s.
